DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY - TIEN GIANG

Morning

After tourists gather at the meeting point as announced, TMA Tourist's tour guide and driver will pick you up by private car and begin the journey to explore the western river region, 2 of the regional routes in the Mekong Delta - Tien Giang and Ben Tre. 

07:30 AM: Enjoy a local breakfast in Tien Giang, featuring regional specialties.

09:00 AM: Departing from 30/04 Wharf, visitors board a large boat to cruise along the peaceful Tien River, admiring one of the important economic arteries of the Mekong Delta. The melodious tunes of traditional songs performed by local singers and the view of the four islands of Long, Lan, Quy and Phung - towering over the river, are truly an engaging experience for today's Mekong Delta tour.

Fish Farming Villages: Cruise past floating fish farms, learning about the locals' unique methods of fish farming on the river, and marvel at the Rach Mieu Bridge. Onboard, enjoy the refreshing taste of fresh coconut water.

Visit Thoi Son Island: Stroll along the village paths, visit fruit gardens, and savor seasonal fruits while enjoying a traditional Southern Vietnamese music performance (Don Ca Tai Tu). Explore a honeybee farm, a coconut candy workshop, and sample honey-lemon tea, banana wine, and traditional snacks. Experience rowing a small boat through natural canals lined with water coconut trees, capturing the simple charm of the countryside. Don a traditional conical hat for memorable photos.

Noon:

11:00 AM: Enjoy lunch at the island restaurant with a menu of many local specialties of the Mekong Delta.

Afternoon

Continue to explore Phung Islet and hear intriguing stories about the Coconut Religion. Participate in traditional folk games here. 

2:00 PM: Return to the wharf by boat to continue the journey. 

3:00 PM: Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda

A pagoda recognized as a national cultural and historical site, Vinh Trang is a popular pilgrimage and tourist destination. It is the largest pagoda in Tien Giang, blending Asian and European architectural styles. The pagoda houses 60 valuable statues made of bronze, wood, and terracotta, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship.

Payment Policy

- Deposit: 50% of the total amount is required at the time of booking. 

- Balance: The remaining balance must be paid on the departure day. 

Cancellation Policy

- Deposits are non-refundable and agreed upon at the time of booking. 

- 30–15 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged as a cancellation fee. 

- 14–7 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total amount will be charged as a cancellation fee. 

- Less than 7 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total amount will be charged as a cancellation fee. 

Children’s Policy

- Children aged 5–10 years old: 

  - 75% of the tour price (includes one meal and one seat, sharing a bed with accompanying adults). 

  - Each pair of adults is allowed to bring one child aged 5–10 years. Additional children must purchase the tour at 100% of the price. 

- Children under 5 years old: 

  - Free of charge (limited to one child per two adults). 

  - Additional children under 5 years old must purchase the tour at 75% of the price.
